PHYSIOTHERAPY & SPORTS MEDICINE INFORMATION

CAN PHYSIOTHERAPY TREATMENTS BE CARRIED OUT UNDER AGREEMENT?
Only INAIL patients can undergo a 12-day motor rehabilitation cycle under agreement, paying a prescription fee of €3.10. The prescription issued by INAIL and a red prescription from your general practitioner with the INAIL exemption code will be required, including the wording “cycle of thermal treatments for motor rehabilitation” (code 89.94.2).

DO I NEED A MEDICAL EXAMINATION TO RECEIVE REHABILITATION TREATMENTS?
To access rehabilitation treatments, it is necessary to undergo a specialist consultation: a physiatric examination costing €110 or a traumatology examination costing €50. If you already have a specialist prescription, the visit is not required; with your specialist’s report you can proceed directly with motor rehabilitation.

WHAT TYPES OF TREATMENTS ARE AVAILABLE?
Functional rehabilitation in water or in the gym, massotherapy, lymphatic drainage, laser therapy, tecar therapy and shockwave therapy.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO HAVE SPORTS MEDICINE EXAMINATIONS, BOTH COMPETITIVE AND NON-COMPETITIVE?
At the Aquardens Medical Centre it is possible to undergo medical examinations for the issuance of non-competitive and competitive sports certificates (including RTP) for athletes under and over 35 years old.
